About

Born and raised in Nebraska, I was immersed in the architecture, engineering, and construction world for five years after graduating college. I became fascinated by how smart, green, and WELL buildings impact our work, environment, and personal wellbeing. I came to realize the artistry of the industry is in blending all three of those elements.

I took a break from the architecture, engineering, and construction life to serve as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco from 2022-2024. The invaluable lessons and unforgettable memories I gained from my small village and travels throughout Morocco and Europe led to exponential growth. I continue to capitalize on that growth, fostering human connections and working to leave the world a little bit better than I found it.

Authentic Human Connection

As Peace Corps Volunteers, we learned to identify connections and bond with others across languages, locations, cultures, and generations. Often, this involved a smattering of words from three languages and lots of hand gesturing. Now, I work with my clients to utilize the same skillset to connect them with their audiences online and in the real world.

Creative Problem Solving

Volunteering in a small, rural youth center meant working with very limited resources. This fostered creative solutions from using markers to teach colors in English to a homemade escape room to teach leadership. This out-of-the-box thinking allows my clients and I to do more with less, focusing on taking advantage of all they already have to offer.

Making the Complex Simple

Working in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry requires translating complex ideas into language that people across industries find relatable. By asking the right questions in meetings and interviews, my clients and I break down intimidating jargon and reveal the stories behind each drawing and door.

Building Community

In Morocco, integration and identifying community needs were my focus, I met a lot of people. Pretty soon, I was strategically introducing people who had lived in the same village their entire lives and never met, despite their shared interests and possible team potential. Today, I love partnering with my clients to introduce them to other opportune connections within my architecture, engineering, and construction network…and beyond!

Servant Leadership

Throughout the youth hiking program I co-led in Morocco, I often led from the back. I read the room and observed that the greatest overall success would come from me giving big-picture guidance while truly integrating with the group. Likewise, my clients and I collaborate on a shared project vision that my content creation then executes, seamlessly integrating into their overall marketing strategy.
